My husband and I hired Kevin to video our wedding last December, and we have no regrets! If you are hesitant to spend money on video, you should know that it is worth every penny. The day goes by so fast, and a video gives you a chance to relive the day. Kevin stays in touch with you from the hiring process to the final editing process. He is very responsive, which is hard to find nowadays. We aren’t the most camera ready people, but he made us feel like naturals in front of the camera. You could tell that everyone enjoyed working with him. My bridesmaids all agreed that he was the best wedding videographer they’d worked with. Our wedding video is awesome! It’s a trailer style, so it has a cinematic vibe. Kevin gives you a chance to provide feedback as well, so you’re gonna get the video you want. Hire this man!

Where to begin, I was late to the game with about a month left before my wedding and stumbled across The Simple Theory. He was able to show me an example video of what I described to him and decided to ultimately go with him. He took the time to go out to the venue just to get a layout as well as plan his shots weeks before the wedding. He got in contact with our wedding planner and photographer to get timeliness as well as meet who he would be working alongside. My daughter is 16 months old and not cooperative, however Kevin is still able to capture some captivating photos. We love every photo he snaps. Kevin from Simple Theory is the best! We did an outdoor family photoshoot with Kevin and we have a 4-year-old and a 1.5-year-old (who just figured out he’s pretty good at walking/running). So if you have any experience with doing prolonged events with kids at that age, you know that things don’t always go as planned. It didn’t take long into the photo session before the kids start running off in their own direction and dad starting to pull his beard out trying to get them to look at the camera. (Mom is looking picture-perfect as always) Kevin was great at adapting to the situation and environment, coming up with ideas and interaction to keep our little ones entertained, and capturing some very beautiful and precious moments throughout. We really enjoyed the experience and the result, and we would love to do this again with Kevin next occasion. I’ll definitely have to remember to shave the beard beforehand though.

Kevin was such a hidden gem! Our family needed a last-minute photographer to do a holiday photoshoot at home. Kevin was very communicative and responsive from the beginning. We had a 3-month-old (whose wake time is still short 1hr-1.5hrs) and he was so accommodating with her schedule and needs. He was great to work with and he was so good with our baby!
